Rural Physicians Group, (RPG) is excited to announce the appointment of Michael Patterson, FACHE as Chief Executive Officer.
Michael (Mike) Patterson is a seasoned healthcare executive with vast experience in rural hospital services. He has most recently served as a Market President for LifePoint Health, Inc. He has served as the CEO of multiple rural and community-based hospitals. He brings a keen understanding of the needs and challenges rural and critical access hospitals, the providers who work in them, and the communities they serve. He has also worked as a rural hospital CFO and has a deep understanding of the financial workings and struggles unique to rural hospitals. He has been active in civic and other local organizations wherever he has lived. Mike has an MBA and MS in Accounting. He will be joining the RPG team mid-August.
Dr. Pannu, the founder of RPG, will be transitioning to Executive Chairman of the Board.
Russell Judd will move from Interim President to Managing Director of the Board.
