Each physician understands the business of healthcare and is a champion of implementing EHR/EMR-CPOE, core measure compliance, and enhancing the patient experience.
Full-time general surgeons are available 24/7, 365 days per year, rotating every 14 days. In fact, 90% of surgical patients will be seen by the same surgeon for surgery and post discharge follow up. This helps to limit risk exposure with stabilization and transfer of high acuity patients.
Communication between the PCP, ED physician, and hospitalists are enhanced. Surgeons are available for outpatient consultations with community providers.
