Thank you for being a part of the RPG family. We value our relationship with you and are always looking for ways we can provide support to rural hospitals. As RPG grows, we continue to make changes to better enhance the services we provide our clients. In an effort to have more physician support of our doctors, we have decided to split the roles Dr. Sandra Guidry has been providing into two positions, Chief of Staff (COS) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO). With that, I am excited to announce that Dr. Matt Pappy has accepted the CMO role. Dr. Guidry will transition the CMO duties over to Dr. Pappy over the next couple of months as she transitions into the COS role. We believe this will enable us to
be more proactive with our physicians and the hospitals we serve.

Dr. Pappy, a board certified Family Medicine physician, has been with RPG for over 6 years and has worked with more than 10 of our client hospitals in hospitalist, Chief Hospitalist, or Regional Medical Director roles. In his new role, Dr. Pappy will oversee the Regional Medical Directors, will work closely with all of our client hospitals, and continue to fill some hospitalist shifts in order to maintain the perspective of what it takes to serve in a rural hospital. He will also be a member of the Executive Leadership Team of RPG to provide input and direction from the physicians and hospitals perspective.
Dr. Guidry specializes in Internal Medicine. She has been with RPG for more than 10 years, has been a hospitalist in numerous client hospitals, and filled many roles to help RPG grow over the years. In her new role, Dr. Guidry will be a vital part of the Executive Leadership Team, providing support to our internal teams including compliance, contracting, clinical reviews, recruiting, and business development.
